Located in Kinston, NC, our family-style residential home provides a safe and nurturing space for girls aged 13-17 as they navigate mental health challenges while building self-awareness, connection, and acceptance within their
families and communities.
Through our Free 2 Be Me Program Model, we empower youth to strengthen emotional resilience, develop essential life skills, and establish healthy coping strategies. With individualized care, 24/7 support, and evidence-based interventions, we help young residents stabilize, heal, and build the confidence needed for long-term success in a warm, home-like setting.
ADULT MH & IDD GROUP HOMES
Harper & Associates Residential Living operates multiple adult group homes across North Carolina, designed to support adults with Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Each home provides 24-hour care and supervision, ensuring residents have access to a stable and nurturing environment. In addition to personalized care, the program offers a range of services and activities, including medication management, social skills training, life skills development, recreational activities, therapy, vocational support, and community integration activities including regular social outings, all aimed at enhancing residents' overall quality of life and independence.
INDEPENDENT LIVING HOME FOR ADULTS w/MH CHALLENGES
HARL’s Independent Living Home TINE'S HOUSE, offers a Deluxe 7-Bedroom Fully Furnished Independent Living Home designed for adults with mental health conditions. This spacious, comfortable residence provides a supportive environment that promotes stability, independence, and well-being. Residents benefit from 24/7 0n-Call support, fully furnished private bedrooms with modern amenities all throughout the home, and access to essential Concierge Optional Add-On Services to provide them the Premium Independent Living Experience, as well as resources that encourage personal growth and community integration. HARL’s Independent Living model empowers individuals to maintain autonomy while receiving the guidance and assistance needed for long-term success.

Nestled in a lovely residential community in Charlotte, NC, our program offers a safe, structured environment where young adults can build essential life skills, strengthen mental health resilience, and prepare for a successful, self-sufficient future.
