Located in Kinston, NC, our family-style residential home provides a safe and nurturing space for girls aged 13-17 as they navigate mental health challenges while building self-awareness, connection, and acceptance within their

 families and communities.

Through our Free 2 Be Me Program Model, we empower youth to strengthen emotional resilience, develop essential life skills, and establish healthy coping strategies. With individualized care, 24/7 support, and evidence-based interventions, we help young residents stabilize, heal, and build the confidence needed for long-term success in a warm, home-like setting.

Harper & Associates Residential Living Independent Living Homes for Young Adults (18–21) provides a safe, fully furnished, and supportive environment where young adults can build the skills needed for successful independence. With 24/7 on-call staff, life skills coaching, vocational support, and access to community-based services, residents receive the guidance and structure they need while maintaining the freedom to grow at their own pace. HARL empowers each young adult to transition confidently into adulthood with stability, confidence, and purpose.

 Harper & Associates Residential Living operates multiple adult group homes across North Carolina, designed to support adults with Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and/or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Each home provides 24-hour care and supervision, ensuring residents have access to a stable and nurturing environment. In addition to personalized care, the program offers a range of services and activities, including medication management, social skills training, life skills development, recreational activities, therapy, vocational support, and community integration activities including regular social outings, all aimed at enhancing residents' overall quality of life and independence.
